Hiking Trails and Routes
Everything you need to know to hike some incredible routes!
The Chinese Wall is an anomalous feature in the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana. A 12 mile-long 1,000-foot tall escarpment jutting straight out of the ground. This route first takes you under the wall on the Continental Divide Trail, then back along the top of the wall completely off-trail.
You'll find plenty of solitude out here as well as a challenging hike. The Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness is a huge, very remote wilderness area. There may be lots of type two fun on this hike. It's hard and frustrating at times, but this is a real adventurous backpacking trip. You'll be on your own and way out there.
The Crazy Mountains are a relatively unknown and isolated mountain range in Montana. A checkerboard of the private property makes this range hard to access, but the second tallest peak is easy to get to. Climbing to it is a different story. A rugged knife-edge ridge makes this an exciting climb.
The Beaten Path is a 27.5-mile end-to-end trail in the Beartooth Mountains in Montana. This trail is in excellent condition, the hiking is pretty easy the whole way, and the views are incredible. All around, it's an extremely enjoyable hike.
