The Nature of Well-being Podcast

The nature of well-being aims to gather and share stories about the mental, physical, and spiritual benefits of spending time in nature. We believe that the wilderness provides a crucial environment for people to find answers to those deeper questions in life and satisfy their biological need for things like meaning, purpose and a spiritual connection to the world them.

This podcast grew out of the documentary project, "Mind, Body, and Soul: the Nature of Well-being." We have filmed many many hours of interviews with experienced wilderness travelers and we've heard a lot of good stories. Unfortunately 95% of these stories won't make it into the final documentary because there simply isn't enough room in a 90-minute film. We thought these stories where important enough to share with the world though and that's why we created this podcast. This podcast will take on a life of its own and we'll continue seeking out inspirational nature stories after the Mind, Body, & Soul documentary is done.
